Cat Harbord
Dip.CBST, CDBC, FDM, DDT, IAPCT Member
Cat Harbord is the founder and Chief Behaviour Geek at ImPAWSible Possible Inc. in Calgary, Alberta. As a serial innovator with a deep passion (okay, obsession) for the human-canine relationship, Cat has dedicated the last 15 years to exploring its complexities and possibilities. Her current focus is centered on the integration of systems thinking, Perceptual Control Theory, participatory action research, peace studies, and behavioural sciences into an evolving dialogue between dogs and their people, with a special focus on complex cases. Cat is in the process of co-authoring her emergent theory with a local PhD and also has some incredible work on the go with her colleague and friend, Brian Fleming, on agency, purpose, and the "why" of behaviour through the dog's eyes. She also runs an online mentorship program called Pooch Peacekeeping Pro where she teaches her unique approach to dog professionals everywhere. Cat holds a Diploma in Canine Behaviour Sciences and Technology, is a Certified DogBehaviour Consultant, and a Family Dog Mediator. She is also a member of the International Association for Perceptual Control Theory (IAPCT). A proud Canadian, Cat was born and raised in BC and has called Alberta home since 1999.

Kendra Gale
Kendra Gale was very lucky to grow up with Miniature Horses, and has spent a lifetime learning all she could to be the best possible steward of the horses in her care. To that end, over the past 15 years she’s made the shift from traditional training methods to training with positive reinforcement, and has been sharing what she’s learned through lessons and clinics, and now primarily through her online classroom, as her ever growing herd of special needs senior horses requires her to stay close to home. Having competed successfully in the breed ring, combined driving, and horse agility, Kendra particularly enjoys trick training, and her mini mule was recently the first mule ever to achieve trick titles through Do More With Your Dog. Her horses can often be found representing their breed at various shows and events, or simply making people smile in parades and senior homes. Kendra loves to help others learn to have more effective communication, and more fun with their Miniature Horses, through her online courses, monthly membership, and her books, including The Big Book of Miniature Horses, Understanding Your Miniature Horse, and her novel, Positively Different, fiction aimed at introducing positive reinforcement training to young readers. Kendra has a diploma in Equine Science and was an Equestrian Canada Certified Driving Instructor. More recently, she has enjoyed branching out into training other species, including teaching tricks to her goats and learning about dog sports with her chihuahua.

She holds her Masters of Social Work and is a Licensed Family Dog Mediator.. When Cooper began to struggle with sensitivity to noises, novel experiences and strangers, Marlene found herself searching for new perspectives in the field of dog training and subsequently became fascinated by the impact of caregiving for challenging dogs on the humans who love them and the impact of work-related stress on animal care professionals. Marlene provides education and support for caregivers and dog professionals living and working with complex companion animals. She has spoken at the 2023 and 2025 LEGS in Motion Conference, as well as the 2025 Aggression in Dogs Conference.

Special Guest
Frankie

Frankie is 11 years old, has had two foals for us, before he was gelded, was a Reserve Champion in the show ring, has been in the Stampede Parade, visited seniors homes, and has two blue eyes, which is why his registered name is Sinatra.
Lux
Meet Lux, a resilient and playful 2-year-old rescue pup. Orphaned at just three weeks old, Lux has blossomed into a confident and affectionate companion. With the love and guidance of her adoptive husky mom and family, Lux has earned two trick titles and is eagerly working towards her third. When she's not showing off her skills, Lux loves to bounce around the house with her favorite stuffy, convincing anyone to play a game of chase. This goofy girl has learned to be polite to her furry friends, including doggy, kitty, and bunny companions. Lux's story is a testament to the power of love, resilience, and positive reinforcement training. Get ready to be charmed by this bundle of energy and joy!
